  • How do I change the blinker light fluid?

    • Here you go:

  • If you have a Lexus/Toyota. Use Toyota Automatic Transmission Fluid. Its the best stuff and 3rd party manufacturers can't compete with their "like oem" transmission fluids.

  • Went to my local toyota dealer and they want about $1000 to do what you suggest. ($189 for brake fluid. $320 For transmission and so on). 5 years ago my chevy dealer charged me $600 for same service on my silverado.

  • My Friend Has a Fiat Seicento and he is going to scrap it anyway so we thought of an experiment "what would happened if you changed all fluids to water?" What could go wrong what do you think chris

  • I watched 6 yrs old break fluid bleeding video now. And right after, this one. Sadly Chris went from normal dude voice to salesman irritating intonation tone. Painful to listen to :(

  • “An suv” *shows a tank*

  • hey chris this is an old comment but if I do a oil change on a car that has never been changed should I just take the pan off and drain it from there and while I'm there replace the oil filter?

  • I think you missed the clutch fluid Chris.

  • lol 0:07 Chrisfix: mentions the cars of his family Their van in the background: Am I a joke to you? love your videos!

  • Let appraise the algorithm for bringing us all here together again ❤️

  • You forgot the blinker fluid?

  • On adding trans fluid.. you ran the car ten min. My guess is that you actually got the fluid temp to 160 degrees not around 100. I would suggest using an infared thermometer to see if the temp is correct to set the fluid level. I think your car is under filled because you checked it when too hot. Also your pump from the quart bottle left fluid in the quart container. How did you compensate for that? With a toyota the temp range is only about 10 degrees. And toyota claims you need a 1000 dollar vac pump system to check the level.

  • Chris.. the oil light on the dash does not indicate low oil level like you said. It indicates low oil pressure. Which can happen with oil level low or correct or high.

  • Fords cam phasers can reduce almost all oil pressure when the seals leak. Same with the oil powered timing chain tensioners. One leak can destroy the engine. Plus fords have tiny oil passages. Very sludge prone

  • Toyota says not to change trans fluid. The kit to measure trans fluid is 1000 dollars.. and you need a scanner tool to check trans temp that reads toyota data. Losing the dipsticks is just part of the story..

  • Quick question, is it safe to enter the car when it’s jacked?

  • This video is perfect!!!

  • No blinker fluid?

  • amazing work on the video, it really makes a beginner like myself understand it. Thank you.

  • Do you really need to lift the car to change the power steering oil? I know that rotating the wheels standing still isn't great for the tires/direction/suspension, but it gets the job done I guess

  • You forgot blinker fluid 😂

  • Tell me ,do all mechanics or even Authorised Repair Center works with this honesty ?

  • you forgot the blinker fluid ;)

  • Power steering dirty tricks. If the reservoir has only a small hole in it twist up a paper towel and stick it in there to soak up the old fluid. Generally, you can remove at least one line from the reservoir and drain some of the fluid though. If you have a small leak, well, first check the clamps and connections. As the fluid leaks out, replace the missing fluid with Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak. Dagnabit, it usually works. You probably won't even get to the bottom of the bottle.

  • Don't forget the convertible top equalizing fluid.

  • lol where is the blinker fluid ????

  • You forgot blinker fluid

  • I respect the hustle of all the different shots where you had to move everything

  • Didn’t realize you were this helpful😅

  • If the coolant on my car is old but still running clear, I can do a quick coolant flush as preventative maintenance.

  • Now me and my dad can work on his ae86 :)

  • What about blinker fluid?

  • 26:30 thank you for telling me that now i can spill it all over my teachers car ITS A JOKE

  • Hi Chris I been watching your videos for years and you're great but i notice you mostly do simple american or japanese cars, I think you should venture into german cars such as bmw and audi/volkswagen since their process for doing maintenance is always a little more tricky compared to other cars.

  • I recently bought a car and this encourages me to do all of this but I am kind of afraid to break something in the process :(

  • Chainsaw chain at 33:00?

  • This is one bad duude💯

  • Thank you very very very much Chris you help me out

  • i love ur vids. i mean i dont have a car but im sure ill use some of ur hacks in the futur!!

    • Thanks a lot Shannon!

  • Someone should download these videos in case HRdown removes them

    • HRdown would remove them so auto technicians can make more money so I would save some videos just in case because information like that can be used for a lifetime and it would be too useful to disappear like that

    • Why would HRdown remove them?

  • "And we are going to use a grease gun" *shoots car with m3a1* _directions unclear_

  • 19:32 : "You dont want to break it." 19:37 : "Break that drain plug free" Had me laughing, great video though!

    • Fine line between breaking it and breaking it :p Thanks a lot!

  • These videos are great. Excellent voice talent for clear communication. The video editing is great and the content is informative.

  • I like to use liquid paint or just a regular felt pen to write the dates of maintenance in the engine bay - if there is a spot available. You can also write underneath the hood. Good to know when you last changed what fluid and what oil. Also good if you want to sell the car and you lost the maintenance history documents (Ever lent out a car and it came back without the documents but with plenty of chicken bones?).

  • Can someone explain to me why we have to pop the hood to fill washer fluid? It is a ridiculous convention and we should get an external lid to fill it up easily. We should also be able to top off the washer fluid from its own nozzle at the gas station. That would save a whole lot of plastic fantastic floating around (though it is nice to have an extra can along in the trunk in winter).

  • Greetings from Turkey Hi I'm doing a little workshop I had such a loving expression in Turkey Thank you so much for the information you would follow bro Thank you Thank you for your information

  • Hey Chris! Just wondering how long this took?

  • God bless this man

  • That´s Stone Age procedures... try to do that on a + Euro5 Car and it wont last 1 day . Coolant and Auto Transmission Fluid must be changed at specific temperature . Coolant must be changed with scan tool to open the circuit valves . Some Euro6 diesel cars have 5 independent coolant circuits.
