Datum objavljivanja: 22. Ožu 2020.
Learn how to detail a car with faded, scratched, paint. I will show you how to do paint correction by hand, how to remove swirl marks, how to restore faded trim, how to restore headlights, and finally how to fix sun damaged paint. I got this car for $500 and it wasn't running and was super dirty. Now the car runs and looks dripping wet!

  • Hopefully you guys like the video! It's basically 4-5 videos in one with tons of info on how to get your car clean! So we can avoid the same comments over and over, check the description for all the links! Also, yes, ChrisFish is me, and not an impostor. It is my second channel I will start this year for when I go fishing, which I love to do. It is my way of still "working" and not feeling bad about going out fishing instead of filming, editing, or answering comments. Now I can do both! Here is the detailing products I used: Ceramic Coating: Compound: Polish: Wax/Sealant: Buffing Microfiber Pad:

    • Hello Chris 👋 I'm mohamed from Egypt i.m big faaan for you and i have two questions why you don't show 🤔yourself and can you make a video about how can fix the Leather car seats

    • H y thebbhubu

    • Hi 👋👋👋👋👋

    • O

    • when you do the compound and polish and wax will you have to do the whole vehicle or can you do spot

  • I like your email

  • I am going to do the wife's car. Tell her it's new. Maybe she won't notice. Girls like Shiny things.

  • Back in the 70s we would spray paint the carpet. Make it look good. I used to steam clean the whole engine compartment and door jam with a kerosene. BTW, Don't steam clean a newer car. Cost me a new computer module. Lol!

  • Can't like more than once. Like to Infinity! Nice video.

  • I have a 1998 Ford Explorer that I bought for $700.00 with 160,000 original miles. The front grill is suppose to be black. It looks and feels like plastic. How do I get it to look better. I have cleaned it with soapy water but it still looks like the area around the passenger door that you repainted. Do I wash it again, clean it with alcohol, spray paint it and finish with the ceramic coating? Thanks in advance

  • who else gets all excited and says "yeah imma do this" then you never do it. lol. I'mma do it this time tho! XD

  • very helpful video... I learned so many smart tricks to car body care.. Thanks for a great video 👍

  • how many hours did you spend on this car?

  • Why don’t you just sand the surface with 400 grit sandpaper directly? And why do you say soapywooder😂🙃?

  • The quality of this video and enthusiastic Chris are spectacular!

  • Hey ChrisFix would you say that specific ceramic bottle is the brand to go with, or does any “ceramic” compound work similarly?

  • Amazing!

  • Can I use that compound on my teeth 🦷

  • I mean these videos are worth their weight in gold with the amount of knowledge they provide to the common people, but I can’t be the only person that also finds them relaxing. Something about it, thanks for the tips man.

  • Kudos for that ceramic product

  • Jez, why do you have to yell during the entire video. you sound like a teenage girl.

  • Watch the video yesterday, I bought everything today. Getting ready to do do it RN. Thanks a lot for the demonstration and tips, I appreciate it a lot man.

  • Your video is amazing and gives me hope in restoring my paint! However, I have a question in figuring out which direction to go. I have a clear coat on my car, but it's extremely eaten up, to the point that it's bubbled and in some places completely gone. But the paint is still there and no primer is showing. I want to assess if the compound would work the way it worked for you or if it would just do more damage than good. I know you said the clear coat was very oxidized, but I couldn't tell from the video how oxidized. Was it oxidized to the point that it had virtually no clear coat, was the clear coat eaten away in parts, or was the clear coat completely intact, just super faded as well?

  • I am very happy to watching your channel because I learn a lot from you. Thank you so much for the high-quality clear explanation and recording.

  • I wish my paint would hurry up and fade so I can do this!

  • Any tips for fixing or hiding clear coat blisters ? Driverside windshield support and fender have tons of little spots were the clear coat is coming up

  • Chris do you still have this Trailblazer?

  • How do you do this outside with pollen in the air? Wouldn’t it cause problems with particles joining the paint? I think your system to polish is really good.

  • 10:58 The paint was so good, it looks like the paint's actually chrome because it was shining so much!

  • That was legitness

  • 1:29 face reveal?

  • Sir I’m no expert I’m not a mechanic but that is not a truck

  • The victorious parentheses relevantly inform because dashboard intrestingly influence toward a roasted break. impartial, anxious jelly

  • That is amazing! You are very good at instructional video!

  • Just bought a 2000 chevy tahoe limited and it's been sitting for 7 yrs but my husband will fix it and I will make sure I can restore the paint after watching this video. Wish me luck😉

  • So i did this yesterday and everything was fine but today when i wanted to do the rest of the car. The compound and polish just dryed on the paint and i had to wipe it off with water. Nothing got off from wiping it with a dry towell. Why does it start drying all the sudden. And Is it bad to wipe it off with water?
